Trucks on Eldora 2013

Truck race possible on Eldora Speedway's dirt, sources say - ESPN I think it would be awesome!!! What does everyone else think?

Arca does a few a year, so why not trucks! And the owner couldn't be better. I think its a great idea! Hope it happens.

Maybe as a All Star race for the trucks, but I don't like it. Come to tracks like Wall or Allstar, dirt is not place for a stock car.

And considering it is where NASCAR and most racing series got their starts it would really neat for them to get back to their roots once or twice a year!

I really hope this ends up happening. It would be nice to see a nice change of pace from the standard 1.5 milers. And it'd be on dirt!

I have mixed feelings about it. If you want to endorse an Ohio track, Mansfield track is still there. It's for sale, but it's still there! Promote another race there. The previous owner wasn't the greatest and that's why NASCAR left Mansfield. Bring them back. Great track.

I'm assuming some edits to the trucks would be needed for that week (splitters would need to go, maybe have a different kind of spoiler/chassis), but I would be all for the race. Dirt racing is really fun to watch, and it would be interesting to see how a truck handles on them. If the event is a success in 2013 (if it happens), i'd honestly want to see maybe a few more dirt tracks on the schedule.

I think the trucks should stay on the asphalt. It would be great to see as an All-Star event for the trucks though.
