Updating the game

on a side note the ps3 is no longer backwards compatible. I bought my boys one for xmas and it will not play ps1 or ps2 games.

You sure about that? The PS1 part I mean. They took out the PS2 backwards compatibility to get the cost/size/heat down, but according to things I've read that are even just from a few months ago the new PS3s still play just about all of the PS1 games.
