I take it that you have not change your virual memory and do not where to find how to change it.
When Xp intsalles your virtual memory is set very low as this one problem that xp has
All version will do the same
It does not many what your ram or cpu is xp read virtual memory before you ram
Step By Step how to adjust your virtual memory
1 Left click on my computer once
2 Right click once this will bring up a windows go to the last line and click on it
3 This will bring my compture set you will see atbs across the top
4 Go to the tab named advanced
5 Virtual memeory set it the top one
6 you will see a button called settings click on the button
7 this will bring up another window
8 you will more tabs across the top
9 You will see advance again
10 at the bottom of this window you will a button called change
11 Click on the button
12 here you can change your virtual memory set
12a your virtual so it read like this 4076-4096
14 Click set
15 Click ok
16 Click apply
17 Click ok
18 Click ok
19 this will bring a up that statement that you need to restart for the new setting to work or something will that
20 After the restart you will have no virtual memory problems
21 hit the keys crt, alt delete all at once
22 this will bring up the windows task manager in the bottom right hand corner
23 you will see the the word Commit Charge ???m / ????m in the botton right corner
24 if you has 2 gb of ram it could be some like this Commit Charge ???m / 6024m
