Wheel Help?

I just bought a new racing wheel. It is a Williams F1 team wheel by joytech for PS2. It is replacing a mad catz mc2 that can play on all platforms ps2 xbox and gamecube and I have a usb to ps2 connector for my PC. The problem is the new wheel won't work when I connect it to my computer with the usb to ps2 adapter. Do any of you out there know a why to fix this problem? Like know of some drivers or something?
