Every community needs it's legends. NR2003's is no less. If there was a NR2003 HOF, who would you think should be included.

This may be a good thread, or a really bad thread.

1st Inductee would have to be either Matt, or one of the other people who have been with NR2003 from the start.

i know I may get slapped for this one but I think Kevin King and Tucknut should be look at some of the killer schemes they have both came up with.

To me, Matt definitely would be in the 1st class, and Papyrus/Sierra. Then from there... it's a crapshoot.

I'll be a janitor at the SRD HoF XD

Jason Roush, mcgastro, and Alan Harkleroad are three that immediately come to my mind.

I had the amazing opportunity to paint with these three here at SRD when we still had the Paint Crew, and I feel like I'm a better painter because of them. mgcastro gave me my start here by helping him do the Camping World Truck Series.

David, Trucknut is an awesome one. I remember my first templates I ever did were Trucknut ones, then Maxgrafx.

The legends in this community are Matt O'Reilly, Tucknut, and Alan Harkleroad. These people have done a lot for the NR2003 community and they have inspired me to paint cars.

I too nominate myself, those test sets don't come cheap. XD

But in all seriousness, those who brought us awesome mods we know, love, and use on a day-to-day basis, Project Wildfire comes to mind for kicking it all off.

Man, that would be tough to say. We need a class and here is my vote.

Tucknut - Absoutly flawless work, working with any thrown at him. A good first pick.

MattyO - This guy gave me the break to be on the paint crew. One of the people around from the original days. He never backs down.

Jason Roush - Want to talk about on painting streak, Jason has always been on one. Delivering excellent M&M's cars.

Alan H. - Talk about a painter. He has library full of many things. I really like the work put out and the detail is very great.

John Gamoba - Shocking to some but not me. You never see him clutter showrooms, but when he comes to town, it is can't miss. He is also really helpful with logo and font ID.

A good class, hopefully I can be a Hall of Famer, but that day will come. Really good idea John.

Jerry, that was most likely the most eloquent post on a topic.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Dan Nisbet or Denis Rioux.

    Thanks. :)

Denis ran through my head, but Dan didn't. Two great nominations.

    Just here at SRD?

Matt, Jason, Andy and John come to my mind off the bat.

Dan was a legend in the NR2003 community and I was sad to see him go...that being said I really appreciate what people like smiffsden and Alan are doing to keep this game alive.

To add to the illustrious list outlined by Larry Foyt 50:

I'd would throw Andy into the mix, he is always busting his rump and putting his renders at everyone's disposal, doing a great job at it, and his renders are invaluable as they are great looking.

Rouix and Nisbit, I look at them in in kind of a forefather light, like Matt, and a few others.

    Matt O'Reily for obvious reasons.

But I really view highly of CC#48 for his work of recreating everything pertaining to NASCAR pre-2001. That's pretty much all I work on and is really the inspiration of my trying to put together a complete 1998 set for the cup mod.

Rioux and Nisbet are definitely on that list as well.
