I wonder if the # 92 Dodge will show up at Phoenix. Tough call to make as his qualifying speed at Daytona would have sent him home first. It would ruin his "gains" if he attempted to make races which he was way off the speed.

Hummph, I wonder, I wonder.

I would like to see him run 10-15 races this year to help finance a stronger run next year and hopefully fulltime in 2013.

I became a Brian Keselowski fan overnight. He may be a "sleeper" with some talent, or he may be a one-time "miracle."

I wonder, I wonder.

well... K automotive is based in mooresville. Phoenix is far away for a small team like that. plus i think he wrecked today on lap 29, and i read earlier that was their only cup car. even finishing terrible they still got 200k+ and sponsorship $$$ from Discount tire. and you also have to think there may not be 43 cars next week so it could be a guarantee if you just show up. So yeah i really dont know rofl :elvis:

The keselowski family are all racers He'll take the money and rebuild there wrecked cup car plus it was more along the line of 400K In total I think he'll be at another cup race soo if not next weekend.

Also he would be receiving penske motors

I doubt they'll get there. Not unless the other teams come together to help the team out. If they hadn't wrecked, I would've said maybe, but with their only car demolished it's shaky for quite awhile.

If Penske/Brad helps and Brian accepts I think he will be there if he doesn't get/accept help I highly doubt that he will get to Phoenix.

TBH, Penske should just take Brian under his wing and help him out all the time. Sure it will take more money from Penske but it seems he has plenty and Brian deserves it.

The problem is Brian wants to go it alone I'm not sure how much help he would accept.

But his brother could by him a car or even like was mentioned before Penske loan him some equipment. I hope he can get to Phoenix I like the Keselowski's there is just something about them that I like. Plus he wants to run for Rookie of the Year. I wish them the best.

nah, he won't be there...and having your brother push you into a qualifying position for Daytona does not make you deserve a ride. he is most definitely NOT ready for Cup and struggles in the Nationwide races he makes.

Its really easy to say "Oh Penske or Brad should just buy him cars, motors etc." It isn't that simple. That is A LOT of money to a guy who they really have no chance of getting a return on their investment with...Frankly, he should be tremendously grateful he got the help he did this week...Sure it was a feel good story, but this is Daytona, He did Qualify near last, and only made the race because one of the best cars in the field pushed him to the front...

It's not him it's his equipment that's bad. He did have drive through the field and make the right moves. Remember he had a five (5) year old car.

...and his average finish last year in Nationwide was 34th in 25 races. i don't see people lining up to offer him money. they did it this week but as Moppy stated, it's Daytona. Phoenix is a completely different animal. he would be in the wall on the first turn. sorry, he just doesn't have the talent. i'm sure he's a nice guy and all but that doesn't pay the bills.

and you know this, how?

Why do you think it was a hard decision for his dad to pick between Brian and Brad if Brian didn't have similar talents to Brad? antknee10 said that Brian doesn't have the talent how does he know that? Why didn't you ask him also?

I mean Micheal Mcdowell Is a good driver but will he make it into phoenix?

Point is he obviously has to have some amount of talent to even qualify for the NNS races he has been in But I mean lets be honest if you Put Jimmie in a 4 year old Hendrick Chevy without any financial backing and a horrid points standings I think we would have the same discussion which to be honest I am in love with the Idea of Mr bland 5 time not making a race :)

because he's a dad and thats what dads do lol. Not every driver in terrible equipment has talent and just needs that big break, there's a reason they are running those cars most of the time. Im sure penske and whoever else arent gonna take a big risk on a guy who has only a top 5 finish in a nonpoints plate race. David gilliland won 1 busch race a few years ago and all of a sudden everyone wanted him. That didnt go too well :twitcy: Wow just as i typed that I saw my local news talking about the 500 and mentioning Gilliland finishing 3rd. :GEEK:

but yeah Brian has shown nothing to prove he has the same talents as brad, and i really dont think any car owners will take that big of a risk, it's not good business

Brian Keselowski said they have other cars. I originally thought this was his only car but he said, in an interview, that he has a Phoenix car at the shop that they will get ready and see how it goes before making the trip.

He said he only wants to show up if he can compete with the others; not to show up and waste money. Especially since you don't get DNQ points like before, attempting races does not matter.

There is a good chance Brain Keselowski will try to make the phoenix race. My logic behind it is because Discount Tire HQ's are there and they like to sponsor at least one cup car in most phoenix races. I thought Brain did pretty good until he got caught up in the big wreck. I would like to see how well Brain would do if he was in better equipment, i think most of us will be surprised to find out he has about the same amount of talent as Brad
