windows 7 boot filename problem

This is the first time this happened, but my computer when is boots after the dell loading screen is will say no boot filename received. Does anyone know a solution to this. I got a replacement disk and is bring shipped to me. Would that work?

Sounds like you need to go into the BIOS and set your boot device. It should then load your OS. But if your replacement disk is empty then there is no boot drive. You'd need to install windows to a device.

Make sure you don't have a usb device or dvd in your machine. It usually tries to boot them first.

There is nothing. If I go into the boot options and bottom from hard drive. There is an error. I ran diagnostics and no errors.

Do you by chance have a Windows installation disk?

I would boot from the Optical Drive and run the Repair Installation option using the Windows disk.
