WinMip2 help

I want to use it but I can't open it up. First I get the error and install the msvbvm50.dll. That got past the first problem. Then I get an error saying:

"Component 'mscomctl.ocx' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid"

Okay. So I get the file and put it in my windows/system folder. Still the same message. Am I even putting it in the right folder? Or do I have to register the file?

i had that problem too put it in the same folder as the winmip exe

i don't know what else to tell u, i do want to try one more thing tho i'm gonna send u my winmip2 folder with that file included just to see if it works so watch for pm

if u followed my pm and put the file in in windows/system32 and it still didn't work try this

I was going to take a wild guess that you're using vista.
Typical vista/7 problems. Always problems, nothing ever works right. They got it right with XP and shouldve just left it alone.
