Hello, I was editing some mip files in WinMip2 (unpack, open .mip, change to .bmp, save, open .bmp in photoshop, edit, save .bmp, open .bmp in WinMip2, change to .mip, save .mip) and while most came out great, there are a few objects that had transparent sections before (painted in 255,0,255) but now, even though I didn't touch that area and made sure to save with the same numbers as the original, are showing in the game as that 255,0,255 pink. Is it possible to edit these files without destroying the transparent element in them? Thank you... Mods, if there is a more appropriate area for this question, please move it... Thank you

Thanks for the reply! It seems that WinMip2 will only let you go from .mip to .bmp or .stp (which I believe is for mainback screens and such). Is there a way to go directly to .tga?

There might be different versions of winmip2 floating around. iirc another guy had the same issue a little while ago and he had a slightly older version (under About mine says 2.16.6).
Now I need to go back and make sure getting 2.16.6 helped him lol. If he solved it some other way I'll point him here.
