If I wanted everyone to have the models already, I would have given them out to everybody. I've handed them out to specific people. Not have some hacks convert them in to some garbage scenes.

That I could have done myself.

Hey I didn't say I pulled these. I'm just saying, with any mod, you can just convert them to models. I do it with Flight sim and Skyrim. OH and I did it with old racing mods where no one had any scenes anymore cause the site was no longer.

My issue is the common courtesy to ask like a few other guys did is gone. Had he just asked, I would have given him the models.

But no, let's do it the sneaky way. And then find every sim racing site there is to post it on.

The Direct X format you have provided is a 3d format which there are programs capable of opening (either naturally or with plug-ins) without editing the model. If you wish to prevent users from opening the models in other 3d programs, you should consider developing a proprietary 3d format and viewer. 3d Auto Sports seems to have a nice application you may want to inquire about to prevent users from converting/using models in ways you do not want.

Ahh yes. That I understand. With a brand new mod, that's a bit uncool. I'm talking like original cars from NR2003 or something.
