Would you buy? (Poll)

I was curious to hear from everyone if SRD put a line of clothing and hats with the SRD logo on it would anyone buy them?

I'm not talking about some cheaply made hat,sweatshirt or t-shirt either.

I am talking about fitted hats, or adjustable, like the kind you can buy at Lids.

T-shirts and sweatshirts would be the same, not some knockoff that would shrink after one wash.

Good, quality, stuff is what I am shooting for. The only problem I for see is keeping the price down so it is affordable for everyone.

So, please vote and give me your reason why or why not you would or wouldn't buy these items. Also, give me a price that you think is fair for

a. Fitted or adjustable hat
b. T-shirt.
c. Sweatshirt.

T-shirt for sure. I still haven't gotten a new Bowyer pit cap yet, still got the old 2007 one.......

I never wear sweatshirts either, I'm basically in short sleeves through the winter too lol. Cuts down the clothing budget, one plus of being a very warm-blooded caveman lol.

I'd be in favor of them all depending on price.

Price would be higher if its embroidered, but would be a better, longer lasting quality.

Hat: $10 -$15 (at the track a pit cap will cost you this or more)

T-shirt - Sweetshirt: $20-$30. I have paid this at the dirt tracks I go to, for driver or event shirts.

$15 a piece would be good.Anything less and the quality would probably suffer too much.Nice to keep them under $20 if possible though.Harder to get pricing down with lower quantities.

With almost 15,000 members to this site, if only 1% wanted something thats 150. Not really leading to lower quantities. SRD could do preorders to determine quantaties needed.

Without even looking into the pricing yet, I can assure you having a custom hat embroidered with the SRD logo isn't going to cost $10-$15.

I'd be up for like a Flex-Fit style hat, although probaly wouldn't pay more then $25 (that's including S&H) for it. I mean no offense or anything, but I can go to the mall and get an Alpinestars hat (or whatever other brand) for about that price, so (once again no offense) I don't think a Sim Racing website hat would really be worth more then a brand-name hat.

As for design (I know you guys aren't at that stage yet, but just figured I'd add this) maybe just plain black with the SRD website across the back, and the logo offset on the front so it's on the left front panel. (Kinda like the AM logo on this hat http://www.aggressivemall.com/v/vspfiles/photos/AM-HAT-BGRY-2T.jpg )

I would buy a T-shirt or a sweatshirt, depends on the price and how they look.

You should post some "blueprints" of some ideas you have for the shirts/sweatshirts and hats and a "ballpark" price.

That way we can get a better idea

See that's the problem we are going to have keeping the price down. These companies we all buy hats or shirts from, buy a huge amount of stock from wholesalers. Which means the more they buy, the cheaper they can sell them.

SRD is not in that kind of position. So no offense taken, I think everyone needs to realize SRD isn't your average sporting goods store where they can price items a lot cheaper because of the amount we order.

I would get a hat, but being here in England it would cost
as much to ship over. But like the idea.
