So to kick things off, my random thought at the moment is...

...that I'm still coming to grips with the fact that Davey Allison ran GM brands Buick and Chevy in the Busch Series from 1988-1991. It's been 20 years and I'm still not quite completely accepting of that particular historical fact.

Speaking of Davey, I often wonder how much racing history would have changed over the past 17 years had Alan Kulwicki and Davey would have lived and had full racing careers. If Dale Sr. was still around where would Jr. be driving (if at all) and would DEI be a powerhouse team like Roush and Hendrick?
